SHIPPING POLICY
Yellowman Nigeria Limited
Website: yellowman.ng
Effective Date: 21 September 2026
Last Updated: 21 September 2026
This Shipping Policy explains how orders placed through the Yellowman marketplace are prepared, dispatched and delivered to Buyers in Nigeria. It covers delivery options, estimated delivery times, shipping charges, tracking, delivery attempts, delays, failed deliveries and responsibilities of Buyers, Vendors and logistics partners.
Because Yellowman is a multi-vendor marketplace, shipping arrangements may vary by Vendor, product, location, size, weight, delivery service and fulfillment method.
Yellowman connects Buyers with independent Vendors. A Vendor may be responsible for preparing and handing an order to a logistics provider, while Yellowman may facilitate delivery arrangements, tracking, customer support and dispute resolution.
The specific shipping method, delivery charge and estimated delivery period displayed during checkout or in the order information will depend on the applicable product, Vendor, destination and available logistics service.
Yellowman may offer delivery to locations within Nigeria where suitable logistics services are available. Availability may vary by Vendor and product.
Depending on the order and destination, Yellowman or the relevant Vendor may use one or more of the following fulfillment arrangements:
Not every shipping method will be available for every product or location.
Shipping charges may depend on factors such as delivery destination, product weight and dimensions, number of items, Vendor location, shipping method and logistics provider.
Where a shipping charge applies, the applicable charge should be displayed to the Buyer before the order is completed, subject to the availability of accurate shipping information.
Where products are supplied by different Vendors, separate shipping charges may apply to different portions of the order.
Delivery times shown on Yellowman are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise. Estimated delivery periods may begin after the order has been successfully paid for, accepted or otherwise confirmed for fulfillment.
Delivery may take longer during weekends, public holidays, peak shopping periods, severe weather, transport disruptions, security incidents, access restrictions or other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Yellowman or the Vendor.
The Buyer should rely on the delivery estimate displayed for the specific order rather than a general delivery estimate for the marketplace.
Delivery time and order processing time are not necessarily the same. A Vendor may require time to confirm stock, prepare, package and hand the product to a logistics provider.
Where an order contains products from different Vendors, each Vendor may process and dispatch its products separately.
A single checkout may contain products from multiple Vendors. Such products may be dispatched separately and may arrive at different times.
The Buyer should not assume that all products in a multi-Vendor order will be delivered in one package or by the same logistics provider.
Shipping charges may also be calculated separately for different Vendor shipments, depending on the applicable shipping arrangement.
Where tracking is available, Yellowman or the relevant logistics provider may provide tracking information through the Buyer’s account, order page, notification or another communication channel.
Tracking information is provided to help Buyers monitor delivery progress. Updates may occasionally be delayed because of the logistics provider’s scanning or reporting processes.
Buyers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and reliable contact details.
Yellowman and its logistics partners are not responsible for delivery problems caused by an incomplete or materially incorrect address supplied by the Buyer, subject to applicable consumer rights.
A Buyer may request a change of delivery address before dispatch where the system or support process permits it. A change may not be possible after the order has been handed to a logistics provider.
Changing the destination may result in a different shipping charge or delivery estimate.
A logistics provider may make one or more reasonable attempts to deliver an order. The Buyer should remain available or ensure that an authorised person can receive the order where required.
If delivery cannot be completed because the recipient is unavailable, the address is inaccessible, the contact details are incorrect, or the recipient declines delivery, the logistics provider may return the shipment or arrange another delivery attempt according to its applicable procedures.
Where permitted by the logistics provider, a Buyer may designate another person to receive an order. The Buyer remains responsible for providing appropriate instructions and should ensure that the authorised recipient can reasonably identify the order.
Buyers should inspect packages, where reasonably possible, at the time of delivery. If the package appears visibly damaged, opened, tampered with or materially inconsistent with the expected shipment, the Buyer should record the condition and contact Yellowman promptly.
Where a logistics provider offers a delivery inspection or proof-of-delivery process, the Buyer should use it where appropriate.
Inspection does not remove any applicable statutory consumer rights or rights under Yellowman’s Return and Refund Policies.
If a product arrives damaged, the Buyer should notify Yellowman as soon as reasonably possible and provide photographs, videos or other evidence where available.
The matter may be investigated with the Vendor and logistics provider. Depending on the circumstances, the Buyer may be eligible for a replacement, return, refund or other remedy under Yellowman’s applicable policies and Nigerian law.
If the Buyer receives the wrong product, an incomplete order or a package missing an item, the Buyer should contact Yellowman promptly and provide the order details and supporting evidence.
Yellowman may coordinate with the Vendor and logistics provider to investigate and arrange an appropriate resolution.
A delivery may be unsuccessful because the recipient cannot be reached, the address is incomplete or inaccessible, the recipient refuses the shipment, the delivery location is outside the available service area, or another logistical problem occurs.
Where a delivery fails, Yellowman or the logistics provider may attempt redelivery, contact the Buyer for clarification, arrange collection where available, or return the product to the Vendor.
If the failure was caused by the Buyer, additional delivery or return charges may apply where lawfully permitted and properly disclosed.
Yellowman aims to support timely delivery but cannot guarantee that every shipment will arrive within an estimated period. Delays may result from logistics capacity, traffic, weather, public holidays, operational disruptions, security conditions, incorrect addresses, failed delivery attempts, Vendor processing delays or events outside reasonable control.
Where a material delay occurs, Buyers may contact Yellowman Support for assistance. Depending on the circumstances, the Buyer may also have cancellation, return or refund rights under Yellowman’s other policies and applicable law.
If tracking indicates that a shipment may be lost or the order does not arrive within a reasonable period, the Buyer should contact Yellowman.
Yellowman may investigate with the Vendor and logistics provider. Where the shipment is confirmed lost and the Buyer is entitled to a remedy, Yellowman may facilitate a replacement, refund or other appropriate resolution.
Some products may require specialised handling, additional delivery arrangements, proof of identity, signature, insurance, installation or other requirements.
Where special delivery conditions materially affect the purchase, they should be communicated to the Buyer before or during checkout where applicable.
Furniture, appliances, machinery and other large or heavy products may require specialised transportation and may have different delivery charges or timeframes.
The Vendor may contact the Buyer to coordinate access, delivery time, installation or other practical requirements.
Products that are prohibited, restricted or subject to special legal requirements may have delivery restrictions. Yellowman may prevent, suspend or cancel shipments where necessary to comply with Nigerian law, regulatory requirements, logistics-provider restrictions or marketplace rules.
Where Cash on Delivery is offered, it may be available only for selected products, locations, Vendors or order values. The Buyer must pay the amount properly due at the time of delivery using the payment method accepted for that order.
Cash on Delivery availability may be restricted for security, fraud-prevention or operational reasons.
Return and replacement shipments are governed by Yellowman’s Return Policy and Refund Policy. Responsibility for return shipping costs may depend on the reason for the return, the condition of the product, the Vendor’s obligations and applicable consumer protection requirements.
Yellowman may from time to time offer free-shipping promotions, reduced shipping charges or other delivery incentives. Promotional shipping terms may include minimum order values, selected locations, Vendors, products or promotional periods.
Where a promotion applies, its specific terms will govern eligibility.
Cancellation is generally easier before an order has been dispatched. Once a shipment has entered the delivery network, normal cancellation may no longer be available.
The applicable process is explained in Yellowman’s Cancellation Policy. Where a cancellation is no longer possible, the Buyer may have return or refusal-of-delivery options depending on the circumstances.
Where an order is cancelled, returned or otherwise qualifies for a refund, shipping charges will be treated in accordance with Yellowman’s Refund Policy, Return Policy, the circumstances of the transaction and applicable law.
Yellowman may use independent logistics providers and other service providers to facilitate delivery. Such providers may have their own operational procedures, tracking systems and delivery terms.
Yellowman remains committed to supporting Buyers with delivery-related complaints and coordinating with relevant service providers where appropriate.
Where a Buyer disputes delivery, Yellowman may request evidence such as order details, tracking information, delivery records, photographs, recipient information or other relevant documentation.
Yellowman may investigate with the Vendor and logistics provider before determining the appropriate marketplace resolution, subject to applicable law and the Buyer’s statutory rights.
Yellowman and Vendors will not be responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances reasonably beyond their control, including natural disasters, extreme weather, widespread transport disruption, public emergencies, government restrictions, security incidents, strikes, infrastructure failures or other exceptional events.
Where such an event affects an order, Yellowman will take reasonable steps to communicate material information and support an appropriate resolution.
